Another delightful play by a younger playwright, this time Boston/Cambridge’s own Lenelle Moïse (pronounced Len-EL Moy-EEZ). Teenagers are the center of this story, but these are not teenagers as they are often protrayed. Moïse clearly remembers what it was like to be hopeful and idealistic and eager to take on the world, despite numerous obstacles. I suspect that this is another play that will find its way onto numerous stages. I loved it and wrote a very positive review, but so did the Boston Globe! (It’s always gratifying to have my taste confirmed by long-time reviewers.)
