The shows must go on, folks, despite the outrages of the Supreme Court in dismantling civil rights and equal opportunity. Why? Because in theater, in art, we find meaning and identity. Here is my review of a terrific theater experience (now extended through July 23) that presents the history of the United States through the lens of capitalism while at the same time skirting the reality of the slave economy that powered so much of it. And yes, despite that shortcoming, it must be and should be seen!
