Farro, Lime, and Basil

A recipe for halloumi, corn, basil, tomatoes, and lime caught my eye, but I didn’t have any halloumi. But I had farro and chick peas as well as fresh basil, corn, cherry tomatoes, and a lime, so I air-fried the chick peas (after tossing in olive oil and Trader Joe’s chili lime seasoning), and combined with all of the above plus some chopped parsley for good measure. Really easy—and tasty! (I don’t always make farro, but there must be something about dishes with farro that inspire me to post about cooking on this site!)
Just browsing around I saved this ‘recipe’ it sounds yummy and summery. I don’t usually have or cook with farro though. Would cous cous work in its place? (not that I usually cook with cous cous either… but I have some) We will find out! Also thinking that without the TJ’s “chili lime seasoning’, I could use a good chili powder and fresh lime zest in its place.
Fresh lime will certainly be an improvement!
