Boulevard of Bold Dreams

I’ve been so busy seeing and reviewing wonderful theater that I’ve let my blog slide. If you live in greater Boston you might enjoy reading my reviews; if you don’t live nearby, you might enjoy reading about productions that might come to your own neighborhood at some point, most likely with a different cast and crew. Boulevard of Bold Dreams is a good example of that. It’s a new play by a young playwright, LaDarrion Williams, and it definitely has legs. The Boston-area production was the East Coast premier; simultaneously, the show was being produced in Chicago, and Williams told me he’d gotten some expressions of interest from companies in Alabama and Colorado. I’m not surprised. It is a touching and enlightening show.
