A Little Bit of Casablanca in Cornwall

I’m traveling now (without my computer) but before I left I set up some posts for delayed publication. I thought it would be fun to share some delights from earlier travels. This photo is from a 2019 trip to Cornwall. We stayed in the little fishing village of Fowey in the King of Prussia Inn that faces the estuary harbor. We bought a detailed trail map at the local bookshop, and set out for a different walk/hike every day. One day we took a bus to the edge of the village to get to a walk that would take us farther afield—and this was the bus shelter! Some creative/kind/delightful person or persons had decorated this bus shelter as a replica of Rick’s American Cafe from the film Casablanca. Why? Who knows? Nothing in the charming but undeniably suburban-esque surrounds evoked 1940s Morocco. And yet finding this spot made our day. Rarely have I had so much fun at a bus shelter!
